Ingeniously simple: fast and flexible to apply
Use a Stanley knife to cut the KlimaTec RapidBoard to size with the aid of a spirit level and apply RapidBoard System Adhesive RB 10 to the entire surface. Position the panels offset, butt-jointed with a T-joint. Fill the butt joints once the panels have been allowed to dry for approximately 24 hours. Fill KlimaTec RapidBoard Silicate Filler into the gaps and incorporate joint tape. Once the joint filler has dried, apply RapidBoard Silicate Filler to the entire surface. In no time at all, you have a perfect, breathable base surface on which to apply wallcoverings or paint.
Note: Lightweight panels can, of course, also be affixed to a stud frame.
